This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'
For several years, at the beginning of the new year, it has been my custom to review the events of the past year that have special prophetic significance. I call it, "Prophetic Year in Review."
Last New Year's Eve, I delivered my "Prophetic Year in Review: 2012" at Calvary Temple Church in Kerrville, Texas, in the heart of the Texas hill country. Pastor Del Way graciously welcomed me into his pulpit to share with an overflow crowd my thoughts about the past year's developments.
Over the next two weeks, I want to share portions of that appearance with you on "The Hal Lindsey Report."
This week, I will discuss my journey from hard-living tug boat captain on the Mississippi river to author and prophecy teacher. It's a journey that has now lasted more than 56 years.
This glimpse into my roots and personal experience may help you discern and accept God's will in your life. As you no doubt know, sometimes God's perfect plan for our lives doesn't quite match our own expectations and desires. But, as I've learned during the past five decades, what God wants for us is always far superior to and much more rewarding than our own meager aspirations.
Don't miss this week's Report here Sunday.
